    Peran Guru dalam pendidikan sangat besar dikarenakan guru merupakan elemen yang langsungterlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Peran yang besar guru dalam proses pembelajaranmewajibkan guru memiliki kemampuan atau kompetensi terutama kompetensi propesionaldalam proses pembelajaran tersebut. Kewajiban guru untuk memiliki kompetensi prosesionalditunjukkan dalam Permendiknas No. 16 Tahun 2007. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan kondisikompetensi professional guru pada Taman Kanak-kanak di Kecamatan Kampar Provinsi Riaudengan menggunakan tes. Dari temuan penelitian dapat diketahui kondisi kompensi professionalguru termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik.     Tulisan ini memuat hasil penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di TK Labor UniversitasRiau. Berdasarkan pengamatan bahwa beberapa anak usia 4-5 tahun tidak dapat berbicara denganbaik terutama berkaitan dengan pengucapannya, khususnya terkait dengan suara dari huruf konsonan.Lalu dilakukanlah USAha peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak tersebut melalui kegiatan bernyanyi.Kegiatan bernyanyi ini dilakukan dengan iringan musik keyboard, yang pelaksanaan tindakandilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus dilakukan tiga (3) kali pertemuan. Sebelum diperlakukankemampuan berbicara anak hanya 48.68% yakni ‘mulai berkembang\u27. Setelah dilakukan tindakan,maka pada siklus 1 kemampuan berbicara anak meningkat menjadi 61.16 %. Pada siklus 2 meningkatmenjadi 77.629 %. Peningkatan ini termasuk pada rentang ‘berkembang sangat baik\u27

    The aim of this research is to know whether there is levels and correlation between emotional intelligence and professional competency teacher kinder garden in kecamatan tanah putih kabupaten rokan hilir. The population of this research is the teacher kinder garden Kecamatan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir that consist of 205 teacher, the sample of research are 67 teacher. Method of this research is Pearson Product Moment correlation to know the correlation between Emotional Intelligence and Professional Competence. The technique of collecting data used questioner in Likert scale from. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical by using SPSS program of Windows ver. 17. Based of this research there is level of emotional intelligence in the medium category with the percentage 78.02% and the level of professional competency in the medium category with the percentage 77.04%. Based of hypothesis there is any significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and professional competency teacher kinder garden in Kecamatan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. It could be seen from the result of correlation coefficient that rxy = 0.636 and significant level is 0.000 0.05. the level of correlation between emotional intelligence and professional competency of teacher in the middle with the rank of determinant coefficient in the amount of KD =r2 x 100% = 40.5%, it means that emotional intelligence affect professional competency as much as 40.5%

    This study aimed to the correlation of self confidence and self adjusment in Kindergartens Negeri Pembina 2 City of Pekanbaru. The population in this study all children aged 5-6 years in Kindergartens Negeri Pembina 2 City of Pekanbaru as many as 100 children from 5 classrooms. The tecnique of collecting data used simple random sampling. Based on the calculation using Taro Yamane formula then the sampling specified in this study is 50 children. The method used is Pearson Product Moment to see the relationship between cofidence with self adjusment. The technique of collecting data used observation sheets in the form of likert scale. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical by using SPSS program for windows ver.17. Based on hypothesisthere is any significant positif correlation between self confidence and personal adjusment of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergartens Negeri Pembina 2 City Of Pekanbaru. It can be known from the value of correlation coefficient of rxy = 0,538 and significance level 0,000 < 0,05. Level of relationship between self confidence and personal adjusment included in the category of being with the value of determinant coefficient of 29%, has the mening that confidence gives effect to the adjusment

    This study aims to determine the correlation between teacher\u27s work discipline and classroom management skills in kindergarten at the districts Rambah Hilir, district Rokan Hulu. The study population was all kindergarten teachers in the district Rambah Hilir with as many as 73 people. Determination of the number of subjects in this study using saturated sampling technique is sampling technique when the members of the population used as a sample in this study as many as 73 people. The method used is the technique of Pearson Chi Square to see t the correlation between teacher\u27s work discipline and classroom management skills in kindergarten at the districts Rambah Hilir, district Rokan Hulu. The data collection techniques used is through a scale in the form of a questionnaire. Based on test results obtained by the hypothesis that there is a significant positive the correlation between teacher\u27s work discipline and classroom management skills in kindergarten at the districts Rambah Hilir, district Rokan Hulu. It can be seen from the results of Chi Square coefficient between labor discipline teachers with classroom management skills of x2 count = 45,792a and x2 table = 3.841. Then the x2 count > x2 table (45.792> 3.841), then h0 is rejected and ha accepted. It means there is a positive and significant the correlation between teacher\u27s work discipline and classroom management skills in kindergarten at the districts Rambah Hilir, district Rokan Hulu

    This study aims to determine the perception of parents about early childhood learning implementation An- Nisa Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. This research is descriptive . population and sample in this study are all parents in early childhood An- Nisa totaling 33 people . The data used in this study are primary data , the instrument used was a questionnaire ( questionnaire ) , while the technique of data analysis in this study using a percentage formula . The results showed that from 3495 the overall indicator score obtained by the percentage of 62.30 % are in the good category , while for each indicator , the indicators obtained cognitive percentage of 60.66 % is in the category enough , affective indicators obtained a percentage of 66.79 % are in the good category and indicator connative obtained a percentage of 60.20 % in the category enough

    Based on the results of field observation on the ability to recognize the concept of the number of students has not developed optimally. So it is necessary to apply the use of visual media. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of visual media on the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children aged 5-6 years in TKIslam Ummi Kamaliyah Bangko district of Rokan Hilir district. The sample used in this study were 18 students. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used t-test with SPSS 20.0. Research hypothesis is the activity of the use of visual media has an influence to the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Islam Ummi Kamaliyah. This can be known from the analysis of data obtained thitung = 17,517 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. Because Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 t tabel= 2,110. So it means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after doing experiments by applying the use of visual media. The influence of the use of visual media on the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children aged 5-6 years in TK Islam Ummi Kamaliyah Bangko district of Rokan Hilir district of 61,96%

    Based on the results of field observations to discipline students is still low and teachers still use learning methods that dominate and not varied. So that should be the application of the technique savings pieces. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the technique savings pieces to discipline children aged 4-5 years in TK Bungo Setangkai, Payakumbuh City. The sample used in this study19 people. The data collection techniques were used that observation. Data were analyzed using t-test using SPSS 20.0. Research hypothesis is that there is a very significant influence on the discipline of the students after applying the technique avings pieces. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained t = 24.509 and ttabel=2.101 so thitung>ttabel and p = 0.000. Because p < 0.05, it can be concluded that there are differences in discipline very significant protégé after using a savings pieces in learning techniques. So it means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after the experiment by applying the technique savings pieces
